The must-see event of the year! A one-of-a-kind concert bringing together a global rock legend and some of Poland's finest artists. After several spectacular editions that have thrilled thousands of fans across the country, The Legend of Rock Symphonic returns on an even grander scale. This extraordinary new edition — The Legend of Rock Symphonic: Bruce Dickinson — lands at the legendary Spodek Arena in Katowice on 30 January 2027, once again uniting the worlds of powerful rock and majestic symphonic music to create a truly unique live experience.
On stage:
Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden), together with Grzegorz Kupczyk (formerly of Turbo), Andrzej “Kobra” Kraiński (Kobranocka), Grzegorz “Ornette” Stępień (Oddział Zamknięty) and Tomasz “Oley” Olejnik (Proletaryat). They'll be joined by guitar masters Marek Pająk (Vader) and Jakub Kaczmarek, with powerhouse drummer Piotr Szpalik behind the kit.
Rock classics, symphonic sound
During the concert, the greatest hits of world and Polish rock will be performed in brand-new symphonic arrangements. The programme will feature some of the most iconic rock anthems of all time. The arrangements have been created and performed by the remarkable Beethoven Academy Orchestra – one of the finest orchestras in Europe..

The Legend of Rock Symphonic is not merely a concert but a full-scale audiovisual spectacle. Every edition features an impressive LightingSHOW and innovative visual effects. The programme also includes a Guitar & Drum Show – standout solo performances by the guitarists and drummers that complement the orchestra's powerful symphonic sound.

Previous editions of the project have featured artists including Tarja Turunen, Marko Hietala, Krzysztof Cugowski, Kasia Kowalska, Małgorzata Ostrowska, Marek Piekarczyk, Piotr Cugowski, Krzysiek Sokołowski, Mateusz Ziółko, Maciej Balcar, Wojtek Cugowski and Grzegorz Kupczyk – with every event drawing a full house and earning glowing reviews from the media. Today, The Legend of Rock Symphonic is a brand in its own right – a symbol of world-class musical quality, atmosphere and spectacle.

The Legend of Rock Symphonic grew out of a shared love of rock music — the kind that carries you back to the greatest hits, reimagined here in beautiful new arrangements. We want audiences to hear the songs they love, while discovering something new. That's why we've brought together not only a highly regarded symphony orchestra, but also Polish musicians and stars from the country's biggest rock stages. Their collaboration promises an unforgettable night, one that will stay with the audience for a long time. Everyone attending will also get to enjoy incredible solo guitar and drum performances, delivered in a truly distinctive style.

For 22 years, it has been one of Poland's leading orchestras of its generation. Its musicians are among the most outstanding Polish students and graduates from many of Europe's leading music academies. The ensemble began performing in 2003, shortly after winning acclaim at the 53rd Jünger Künstler Bayreuth festival. In 2005, at the invitation of Elżbieta Penderecka, the Beethoven Academy Orchestra made its debut at the 9th Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival in Warsaw, earning outstanding reviews and numerous invitations to prestigious festivals in Poland and abroad.
The orchestra has recorded 42 albums to date, including releases for labels such as DUX Poland, Dellos USA and Universal Music. Its credits also include soundtrack recordings for Marvel Studios, Netflix, Warner Bros. and Monolith.
The ensemble's artistic and organisational direction has been overseen from the outset by its founder, Marcin Klejdysz. The orchestra's exceptional standard is further reflected in its collaborations with some of the greatest names in music, including Prof. Krzysztof Penderecki, Jacek Kaspszyk, Jean-Luc Tingaud, Jose Cura, Cristiano Vasquez, Steven Isserlis, Krzysztof Jabłoński, Aleksandra Kurzak, Gautier Capuçon, Kevin Kenner, Andrea Bocelli and Lang Lang. The ensemble has performed at some of the world's most prestigious concert venues, including three appearances at the Musikverein in Vienna, the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, and the Konzerthaus Berlin.
Commissioned by the orchestra, Oscar-winning composer Elliot Goldenthal wrote “Symphony No. 3 for Soprano and Orchestra”, set to the poetry of Barbara Sadowska.
